Make the offer understandable
State the services, scope, prices where appropriate, service area and contact options clearly. Explain unfamiliar terms in ordinary language. Pages should help a prospective customer make a decision, whether they arrive directly, through traditional search or through an AI tool.
Publish evidence you can support
Use actual work, permissioned customer feedback and accurate business details. Distinguish a measured result from a target or an illustrative example. Keep service and pricing information consistent across the website and real profiles.
Keep normal search foundations in place
Ensure important pages are accessible, internally linked and use consistent URLs. Google says existing SEO practices apply to its generative search features; no special schema or new AI text file is required. Its guidance explicitly says llms.txt does not affect Google Search visibility or rankings.
Understand crawling choices
Search crawlers, training crawlers and user-triggered fetchers serve different purposes. Allowing a training bot is not a guarantee of search inclusion. Review official provider documentation before changing crawler permissions, and check that your hosting does not unintentionally block the search access you intend to allow.
Measure what you can observe
Use available search reporting, identified referral traffic and qualified inquiries. Some discovery paths cannot be attributed precisely. Do not present crawler visits or an occasional brand mention as proof of new clients. Revisit pages when services change and keep the information useful to a human reader.
